Step 1: Relationships
Create and maintain a good relationship with other people, based on mutual cooperation with a focus on resolving conflicts, giving helpful feedback and, generally, making an effort to create a comfortable environment where people can better themselves and thrive.
Step 2: Strategic decision-making
Try to take the actions which not only benefit you but also those who you care for. Think about all the consequences and give sound advice to others. Anticipate issues before they arise and find solutions based on your expertise and experience.
Step 3: Consistency
Be reliable. If others know that you follow-up on your promises, they will likely do the same in return. (Be careful that they don’t take advantage of you, though.)
