Since longer texts, consisting of more than one page, increase the number of possible obfuscation operators, a choice has to be made about how many solutions are chosen before a memory limit is hit and the process runs into an endless loop.
If the choice is made too quickly, it can lead to non-optimal solutions such as removing text elements instead of paraphrasing them (@bevendorff2019, p. 1103).
