Hi! I’m Luke: a neurodivergent, chronically ill (incapable), queer trans dude who loves how humans talk and walk and think and act.
I’m currently studying Linguistics with a focus on Computational Linguistics, trying to get that MA at some point in the near future. But I also really enjoy Psychology and Anthropology and how they interact with language as well as the ways in which we conceptualise the world around us.
I’m a huuuuge nerd. You can always talk to me about sci-fi, both literature and film (especially Star Trek), Linux, coding etc. I’ve also tried quite a lot of different hobbies in the past: dancing (ballet, jazz, tap dance), playing the guitar, drawing (digitally), speedcubing, speedrunning (games) etc. Right now I’m building and flying model planes, practicing piano and getting into crocheting.
My brain is always racing, so I talk a lot. This kind of reflects onto my style of writing as well, if you haven’t yet noticed. I don’t think I’m super clever or creative but maybe you’ll find something valuable here!
